Garden

 

The Garden is an exciting place that you can explore when you visit the Versailles Palace.  The garden is filled with massive fountains with various statues of mythical creatures and other figures.  The Dragon Fountain, Apollo Fountain and the Neptune Fountain highlight awe-inspiring sculptures that magnified the sophistication of the place.  Music also accompanies the fountain during the month of April to October.  You may ride the mini-train or a horse carriage that will take you around the park for a more convenient travelling.  There are also establishments around that allow you to rent a bike to tour the expansive garden.

 

 

Marie Antoinette Estate

 

Visiting the Hamlet and Petit Trianon would be one of the best things to do in Chateau de Versailles during the summer season.  During this time, the garden is in bloom.  The visitors are allowed to roam around Petit Trianon especially on the first floor.  The Hamlet which is known as the toy village of Marie Antoinette features a ramble, dairy, Queen’s House and the water mill.

 

Water Fall

 

The Water Fall Chateau de Versailles would be one of the most recent additions in the Versailles Palace.   It is a majestic waterfall that is situated at the Grand Canal.  The installation is simply impressive, and the view is commanding especially when you see it at the front step of the palace.  This latest addition has quickly become one of the most sought after destinations in the Chateau de Versailles.  It is created by a Danish artist named Olafur Eliasson who is renowned for his large-scale projects.
